About
Here you'll find
more than just
a photographer...
Hi! I’m Brianna. (she/her)
I'm a wedding + elopement photographer based in Madison, Wisconsin.
I'm an adventurous spirit who loves traveling and taking photos.
I've been photographing weddings for 8 years!
I’m interested in connecting with clients like you and telling your stories through photographs.
My photographic style uses natural light to capture genuine emotions, bright colors, lovely intimate moments, and beautiful creative portraits that are classic and timeless.
always choose the adventure
I love shooting outdoors, no matter the weather, and am always inspired by beautiful greenery, a sun-kissed field of summer wildflowers, or a moody piece of architecture.
I'm just as content shooting in the woods or in a gorgeous wedding venue.
I absolutely love weddings, and each one is so unique and I enjoy capturing the thoughtful touches and rollercoaster of emotions on your special day.
Along with large traditional weddings, I also photograph engagements, elopements, destination weddings, small/micro weddings, and adventure elopements.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer who is laughing and crying behind the camera along with your guests and treats you like a close friend on your wedding day, I’m your girl.
I have an awesome husband Pat who lets me shove my camera in his face a lot. We live together in downtown Madison. We got engaged in 2021 and and got married in the mountains in Washington in 2023! We actually eloped, which was amazing.
We like traveling, going to concerts, riding our bikes, exploring the outdoors (kayaking, snowshoeing, sailing, hiking, etc), and eating delicious food together. So far we've been to Iceland, Hawaii, California (x3), Florida, Texas, and D.C. together and have also explored all corners of Wisconsin. We also spent a month in Europe for our honeymoon!
I’m all about making the most out of life and trying to remember it all. That's where photos come in for me. I’ve always been passionate about photography. In fact, when I was a kid I always had a camera in hand and I wanted to be a photographer when I grew up.
so this is love
Instead of being a photographer right away when I grew up, I went to architecture school. I now have a Master's degree in Architecture! I went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Go ILLINI!) for my bachelor's and master's degrees and will always consider Champaign my second home.
In college I fell in love with architecture and historic buildings, but I never lost interest in taking photos. For the last ten years along with taking photos, I was working full time at a small architecture firm in Madison. It turns out photography and architecture have a lot in common! I am now a "retired architect" and full time wedding photographer but I still love to incorporate my knowledge of architecture, spaces, composition, and design into my photos.
I consider myself an inclusive photographer and I proudly support the LGBTQIA+ community and I do not discriminate against gender, race, religion, age, or body type.
I can’t wait to work with you!
thanks for supporting my work!
Brianna

my mom took this photo of me recording
our view at the grand canyon on a camcorder when I was 15
My photos are priceless to me, and I'm so grateful I've always liked documenting my life and the people in it with photos.
why photos?
I still have my first camera! It was a point and shoot '110-format' film camera.
I’ve been taking photos since I was in sixth grade. None of my photos from back then are groundbreaking or museum-worthy (a lot of them were just crooked photos from the back of the crowd at concerts, selfies with my friends, and pictures of my dog), but I look back at those photos and they are so special to me. They are powerful reminders of what my life was like when I can no longer remember without them.

Your memory fades really fast. I wholeheartedly believe that the photos I create for you on your wedding day will soon be priceless, magical, time-traveling heirlooms. Investing in quality photos that capture major life milestones will help you remember and preserve those amazing memories. What are you waiting for?
