Mitchell Domes are a group of three geodesic horiculture conservatories in Milwaukee. The three greenhouse domes are home to different climates and plants. There is a Tropical dome, a Desert dome, and the Show dome (usually with flowers and plants native to Wisconsin). Want to host your ceremony in the desert but in Milwaukee?? Look no further! All of the domes can host up to 30 guests for a wedding ceremony. Receptions can also be held in the atrium or you can choose another off-site location nearby (such as Greenhouse no. 7) to host your reception. The Urban Ecology Center of Riverside Park is a unique urban wedding venue in downtown Milwaukee that is surrounded by the beautiful nature of Riverside Park. If you are hosting a sustainable or eco friendly wedding and follow Leave No Trace principles, the Urban Ecology Center might be the wedding venue for you! Outside the venue, there are beautifully landscaped gardens, a forest with walking trails, and a bridge over the Milwaukee river. There is a lovely outdoor ceremony space tucked in the forest.
