A + H had a beautiful Goodman Community Center wedding in Madison, Wisconsin in October 2024. The weather on this fall day was unseasonably warm as the sun shone bright all day. The couple got ready and hosted their cocktail hour and reception in the Brassworks Building at the community center. They had their ceremony across the street in the Ironworks building.
The Goodman Community Center is the perfect historic industrial setting for your wedding. The space has a variety of rooms within its two beautifully renovated buildings to meet your wedding event needs. The exposed brick walls, exposed wood and steel roof structure, and lots of windows with natural light make the space perfect for a wedding.
The couple was vibrating with anticipation, joy, and happiness throughout the day celebrating with their friends and family. The groom wore a stylish forest green suit and the bride wore an elegant and classic off the shoulder fit and flare wedding dress. The bride had an emotional first look outside with her dad, and then with her soon-to-be husband.
The wedding party was wearing gorgeous autumnal colors. The bridesfolk wore varying colors and styles of velvet dresses and suits, and the groomsfolk wore egglplant colored suits. After the heartfelt ceremony, we took portraits with the wedding party and the couple. The guests enjoyed cocktail hour before a delicious plated dinner was served by candlelight, followed by requesting songs and dancing under the DJ's disco ball. The bride changed into a new reception dress that was short and flowy. The couple had a fun photo booth with props at their reception. One of the couple's favorite things is pizza (can you spot the groom's pizza tattoo?) and they ended the night with a hot late night pizza from Glass Nickel and fun direct flash wedding reception photos. The couple even had a custom pizza cutter engraved with their wedding date to cut the pizza!
