This year was one for the books! In 2024, I officially left my architecture career to run my photography business full time, which was an incredibly difficult decision but was something I had been dreaming about for a long time. I cannot believe I've already had six months of running Brianna Kraft Photography full time, and I could not be more grateful for all of my clients who have chosen me to photograph their weddings that have made this dream possible.
I photographed 19 weddings in 2024, as well as some engagement photos, and even a proposal and wanted to highlight my favorite photos from the year in this blog. I was all over southern Wisconsin this year for weddings, from the capitol in Madison to Janesville to Beloit to Stoughton to the Wisconsin Dells to Edgerton. I photographed at some lovely Madison venues from Goodwin Community Center, Harvey House, The Edgewater, the Premier Park Hotel on the square, Olbrich Botanical Gardens, and the UW Memorial Union. The weddings ranged from big celebrations to small intimate ceremonies. I worked with some amazing couples and helped them make their dream wedding photos happen, which was incredible.
I am also starting off the blog sharing some jaw dropping Wisconsin landscape photos that I took this year, including the Northern Lights, the ATLAS comet, one of the many stunning full moons we had, and a gorgeous field of spring lupines.
